Egypt international Ahmed Al-Mohammadi claims he is close to joining Blackburn Rovers on loan.
The 21-year-old right-winger, who has already won 20 caps for county, is being dubbed the Egyptian David Beckham.
Al-Mohammadi was originally wanted by former manager Paul Ince to fill David Bentley's boots, but new boss Sam Allardyce has maintained an interest in the midfielder.
The former Ghazl El-Mehalla winger now plays for ENPPI Club and claims he will be joining the Ewood Park outfit before the transfer window closes.
"My six-month deal should be finalised soon," Al-Mohammadi told The Sun.
