Campbell unsure of future

Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell has admitted he is unsure where his long-term future lies.

The 34-year-old centre-back joined Pompey from Arsenal in 2006 on a free transfer, and has tallied 80 Premier League starts for the South Coast outfit to date.

Campbell's current contract is due to expire in the summer, but reports in Thursday's press claim Portsmouth have yet to open talks over a new deal.

He said in the Daily Mail: "I'm just being professional and getting on with it. I want to carry on playing but I don't know what's going to happen."

Tony Adams' Portsmouth sit 15th in the table, three points above the relegation zone and are without a top-flight win since the end of November.
