Stoke City striker James Beattie is confident the club can avoid relegation this season.
Tony Pulis' Potters currently lie 19th in the table, and are without a Premier League win since November.
But Beattie, who joined Stoke from Sheffield United for £3.5million earlier this month, believes the side have what it takes to preserve their top-flight status.
He told The Sentinel: "I'm sure we'll win away this season and I wouldn't have come to Stoke if I didn't think they could stay up - that is the priority at the moment.
"The spirit of the lads is very, very good and we know it is going to be tough."
