Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry has hailed Martin O'Neill's side as the 'most exciting' he has played in during his time at the club.
Villa have impressed this season and they leapfrogged Arsenal at the weekend to climb into fourth after a 4-2 success over Bolton Wanderers.
O'Neill's squad possesses some eye-catching talent, with the likes of Ashley Young and Gabriel Agbonlahor in scintillating form this campaign.
And Barry, who has been at Villa Park since 1997, has praised his team-mates as they aim to claim a UEFA Champions League berth come May.
He said in The Sun: "I've probably not played in as exciting a team as this one at Villa. You can see the reaction of the fans as soon as the boys up front get the ball and, what with their pace, everyone is off their feet.
"And you can tell there are defenders who fear the pace and the ability that we have got to cause them problems."
