Gareth Barry has hailed Aston Villa's strikers as a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League this term.
The 27-year-old believes the likes of John Carew, Emile Heskey and Gabriel Agbonlahor have their rivals running scared in their current vein of form.
Villa have stunned their rivals with a tremendous run in all competitions leaving them still in the running for three lots of silverware.
And still holding Arsenal at bay in the fourth UEFA Champions League spot, the Midlands club can afford to be in confident mood.
Full of praise for the trio spearheading the attack for Villa, Barry told the Birmingham Mail: "With John, Gabby and Emile now up front it must be daunting for teams who are defending against them.
"To have three of them on the pitch when we are looking for a winner will be a frightening prospect," he added.
"We are trying to keep the same style of play at home and away - against Wigan the goals didn't come - but they will."
John Carew returned to action at the weekend for the first time since November which Barry admits was a welcome boost.
"John is another great option for us," he said. "He probably needs a couple of games to get back to where he was then hopefully he will start scoring again."
