Portsmouth executive chairman Peter Storrie has called on everyone at the club to 'pull together' and support Tony Adams.
Adams only replaced Harry Redknapp as manager in October but Pompey have since slipped down the Premier League table.
They are currently just one point above the relegation zone and speculation has intensified regarding Adams' future.
However, Storrie has dismissed suggestions that Adams could be replaced and insisted he is fully behind the former Arsenal defender.
"There has been no board meeting to discuss the manager's position and there is not one planned," Storrie told the club's official website.
"Of course, both Tony Adams and I have spoken to (owner) Alexandre Gaydamak.
"We do this on a regular basis and at the moment our priority has been focused on adding to the squad before today's transfer deadline expires.
"We are all concerned at our current run of poor results, none more so than Tony and myself.
"However, it's important we all pull together and get behind Tony and the team."
Storrie believes the players must do more to help Adams steer Portsmouth away from trouble.
He explained: "We are all in this together. From the board through to the coaching staff and players - we win together and we lose together.
"We all have our responsibilities. The board needs to make the right decisions off the field, the coaching staff need to get the tactics right and the players need to perform on the pitch."
