Arsene Wenger praised his Arsenal side for battling until the end to secure a 3-1 victory at Hull City.
The Gunners were out for revenge at the KC Stadium after slipping to a surprise 2-1 home defeat against the Tigers earlier in the season.
Emmanuel Adebayor's header secured Arsenal a half-time lead, only for Daniel Cousin to draw City level midway through the second period.
However, Samir Nasri restored the Gunners' lead on 82 minutes and, four minutes later, substitute Nicklas Bendtner made the game safe.
Wenger acknowledged it was a tough test against the Tigers, but was happy that his team had the endurance to clinch a late win.
"It was a battle, but in the first half I believe we were really on top of the game," said Wenger.
"We had a lot of fluency in our game and at 1-0 we wanted to keep them under pressure, but in the second half they made a real battle of it.
"There were a lot of long balls, they played a bit higher up. It became different and we had the deflected ball to concede the goal.
"But we had the resources to come back and win in a convincing way because we kept going.
"I think we have scored 16 times in the last 33 games in the last 15 minutes and we did that again today."
