Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for December, while Ashley Young has scooped the Player of the Month award.
The accolades follow Villa's excellent form over the festive period as they again demonstrated their capability of securing a top-four finish this campaign.
It is the sixth time O'Neill has won the manager's prize, while winger Young becomes the first player to win the gong three times in a single calendar year, having also picked up the award in April and September.
The club are currently fourth in the Premier League having won four and drawn one of their five league games in December.
England winger Young netted three goals in December, taking his tally for the 2008/09 season to five.
