Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has hit out at the 'crazy' reports linking the club with a bid for Manchester City star Robinho.
Reports in Saturday's press claimed Scolari was planning to sell four of his squad members in order to fund a move for former target Robinho.
However, speaking after the Blues' dramatic 2-1 win over Stoke City, the Brazilian coach has disregarded the rumours outright.
Scolari told Sky Sports: "It is a crazy story because I have 23 players. Three players are injured, (that leaves me with) 20.
"If we sold four players, (I then have) 16. If I add one I then have 17.
"Whoever wrote this is crazy. They have put it in the newspaper just to sell the newspaper. Crazy, crazy people."
