Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has rubbished reports suggesting Roman Abramovich is looking to sell the club.
The Russian owner is rumoured to be looking for a buyer for the Blues who currently occupy third place in the Premier League, two points adrift of leaders Manchester United.
Kenyon, though, insists Abramovich is committed to the club and has poured cold water over any rumours surrounding a possible sale.
Speaking at a fans' forum, Kenyon said: "There has been a lot of rumour and speculation surrounding Chelsea and the owner's commitment to the club.
"I can assure you on his behalf that this is totally unfounded and anything else you might read about this is rubbish.
"Chelsea is not for sale. The owner has not and is not looking to sell his interest in the club and he remains as committed as ever."
