Bolton's new loan signing Sebastien Puygrenier has been given the green light to face Manchester United this weekend.
Puygrenier agreed a loan deal from Zenit St Petersburg until the end of the season at the Reebok Stadium last week.
Bolton have now received international clearance for the defender and the Frenchman will go straight into the squad for the visit of United.
Trotters boss Gary Megson is delighted Puygrenier is now available as he has a number of injury problems to contend with for the game against Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
"We were made aware of the possibility that Zenit might be letting him go so we felt that if we could do a deal then it would be a really good signing for us," said Megson.
"He's played against a lot of the big clubs, he's got a good bit of pace and he knows the game.
"We are looking forward to seeing whether he can defend in the most difficult league in the world.
"His attitude is fantastic and everybody has been really impressed with him since he has been here."
