No complaints from Hodgson

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has said he has no complaints in defeat by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Fulham fell to a Kenwyne Jones finish just before the hour mark after the 24-year-old blasted past Mark Schwarzer to complement his new four-year contract with the Black Cats.

The Cottagers failed to overcome their goal deficit as their winless run on the road in the Premier League continued.

Hodgson, though, said he had no complaints about his side's performance in what he described as an even game.

"I thought it was pretty even to be honest," he said.

"We played particularly well in the first half but then obviously went a goal down which meant that we were chasing the game.

"I thought we were still in the game right until the end and the boys worked very hard throughout.

"Unfortunately the goal that won the game was Sunderland's - not ours."
