Blackburn's Aaron Mokoena has admitted his future could be away from Ewood Park if his first-team chances do not improve.
The 28-year-old's contract runs out in the summer and the South African has said he would accept a loan deal for the remainder of the season if he cannot claim a regular place in Rovers' first XI.
"I know there are clubs who want me and some might say that with six months to go on my deal it's the perfect situation. But I need to play more," reports the Daily Mail.
"This club is in a situation where it needs to ensure it survives in the Premier League and I want to play my part in getting us to safety.
"But if Rovers don't need me every week then I'd prefer to go somewhere on loan till the end of the season or, perhaps, just leave in this transfer window."
The versatile defender, who has a price tag of around £750,000, may have a chance to showcase his talents when his side face Sunderland in Saturday's FA Cup clash.
