Middlesbrough striker Mido has quashed speculation linking him with a move to Turkish club Besiktas.
Reports have claimed that the Istanbul-based side were closing in on a deal to land the Egypt international.
However, 25-year-old Mido has insisted he has no plans to seek an exit away from the Premier League.
He told Filgoal: "No one has spoken with me about an offer from Besiktas, and I am not interested in playing in Turkey anyways.
"It surprises me why my name is usually mentioned in Turkish media. Last season they claimed I was going to Fenerbahce as well."
He added: "I am willing to remain in the Premier League. If Boro agreed to sell me to an English club then I will go, otherwise I am staying for now."
