Eidur Gudjohnsen's father and agent, Arnor, has rejected rumours linking the Barcelona star with a move to Blackburn.
Reports emanating on Thursday suggested Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce was lining up a move for Gudjohnsen as a possible replacement for Manchester City target Roque Santa Cruz.
Allardyce is a big admirer of the Iceland ace having worked with him during his time in charge of Bolton, but Gudjohnsen snr insists there has been no contact with Blackburn and that former Chelsea forward Eidur is happy at Camp Nou.
"There been no contact with Blackburn Rovers regarding Eidur," Gudjohnsen snr told skysports.com.
"Eidur is happy at Barcelona and is concentrating on helping them win silverware this season.
"There is always interest in Eidur, but I have not heard from Blackburn.
"I don't think anything will happen in January as Eidur wants to stay and Barcelona want to keep him."
