Manchester City captain Richard Dunne insists that there will be no friction between Robinho and the rest of the squad when the Brazilian returns.
The striker is in hot water with manager Mark Hughes for flying back to Brazil after walking out of a week-long training camp in Tenerife.
Dunne believes that all the attention the club have received thanks to the whereabouts of their top scorer and the Kaka saga will have no effect on the team's performances on the pitch.
In fact the defender goes as far as to say the whole situation over recent weeks has brought the squad closer together.
"Because everything has been going crazy outside of the camp, it has pulled us all together," he told the club's official website.
"We still have our jobs to do, we have a game to prepare for on Wednesday, and that's what we are doing.
"Whatever else happens, it happens. The manager has dealt with it and we'll give Robbie some stick for it when he gets back.
"He has had his own personal issues to sort out and each player is different. The manager and he have cleared things up.
"He'll be back in Manchester and everyone will look forward to seeing him again because we have all seen how good a player he is."
Meanwhile the 29-year-old has also been impressed by new signing Nigel de Jong, who joined up with his new team-mates on Thursday after completing his switch from Hamburg.
"He seemed very good, very confident and he seemed to take to training very well," he added.
"It helps that he speaks English, and he knows Vinnie (Kompany) as well so he looks like a good signing."
