Chelsea striker Didier Drogba admits he is in a hurry to rediscover his best form after a frustrating first half to the season.
Drogba has struggled with injury and suspension this season which has restricted him to just one goal in 10 Premier League appearances.
He has also been left out of the Chelsea squad for the last two matches against Southend United and Stoke City by Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Blues boss Scolari confirmed earlier this week that Drogba is in contention to return to the squad for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Ipswich Town.
And the Ivory Coast international has outlined his determination to reach his peak again after shaking off a nagging knee problem.
"I've not played for the last two matches and I'm in a hurry to return to my best level and be a first-team regular again," Drogba told La Provence.
"If you look back to last May, I've been out for four to six months and it has been very difficult for me. But now I feel in top form.
"I know what I am capable of doing and the real satisfaction for me is that my knee is completely right."
