Spanish star Marcos Senna admits he is flattered to be linked with a move to Manchester City.
The Brazilian-born midfielder has long been linked with a move to England and he almost joined Manchester United two-years ago.
Now he is being strongly linked with United's city rivals and the 32-year-old, who has two-years left on his current deal at Villarreal, has confirmed he could be tempted by City.
"I have heard about the big project at City and I'm flattered by their interest," Senna told the Daily Mail.
"The Premier League is a big league and I am interested in the challenge.
"It is complicated leaving Villarreal because I am excited by the season and we are still involved in the league and the Champions League.
"It would take an enormous proposition by City for me to leave but it is not impossible."
Villarreal also conceded that they could not rule out a move for Senna, if a big bid was lodged for him.
"We have received no formal offers but in football nothing is impossible," said sporting director Jose Luis Llanez.
"If we get a big offer we would consider it."
