Frank Lampard has urged his Chelsea team-mates to show their fighting spirit after stumbling at Fulham on Sunday.
Chelsea dropped two vital points in the 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage, handing rivals Liverpool and Manchester United the advantage in the title race.
Clint Dempsey's late equaliser means Luiz Felipe Scolari's men now trail Liverpool by three points, while United have three games in hand to close the seven-point gap between them and the London club.
Plus Sir Alex Ferguson's side will have the home advantage when his champions lock horns with Chelsea on Sunday week.
The England midfielder, who scored both Chelsea goals against Fulham, claimed confidence within the dressing room remained intact.
"There's three points in it and we've got a very good squad of players," Lampard told the Evening Standard. "Against Fulham it was frustrating because of the manner of losing all three points with that last-minute header.
"But we will go to United wanting to win that game. If we can get real consistency going, we can win the League."
Chelsea's recent form has been anything but title winning, having won just twice in seven games.
But Lampard feels a never-say-die attitude, which was spotlighted by Scolari as one of the positives over the weekend, is going to be crucial to changing their fortunes.
He said: "You can only win titles with never-say-die in your team. That is what Chelsea are all about. We've had it for the last few years and we've still got it."
