Nicky Butt has told Sky Sports News that he does not expect Paul Ince to be out of the game for long.
Ince was relieved of his duties at Blackburn on Tuesday, bringing to an end a frustrating six-month spell at Ewood Park.
Results consistently went against the former England international during the course of the current campaign, with his first taste of top-flight management ultimately ending in disaster.
Having served his apprenticeship at Macclesfield and MK Dons, Ince was supposed to be the first in a new breed of British managers set to take the Premier League by storm.
However, things did not go to plan and it remains to be seen where the ex-Manchester United man turns up next.
His former team-mate during his playing days at Old Trafford, Butt, certainly believes Ince will persevere with management, refusing to be put off by his ill-fated stint at Blackburn.
"I'm speaking from an outsider's point of view, but for me to see somebody get sacked after only a few games in charge, after not being able to buy his own players and not be able to stamp his own authority and get through at least through half a season, is pretty difficult," Butt told Sky Sports News.
"He'll be passionate and want to get back into the game and he'll bounce back really quick."
