Frank Lampard has been named as the Premier League's Player of the Month for October.
The Chelsea midfielder has been in scintillating form of late and has seen his achievements acknowledged accordingly.
It is the third time that the England international has been named the top flight's elite performer during his stellar career, with the last occasion coming exactly three years ago.
Lampard claimed October's prize after helping Chelsea to three wins in four Premier League fixtures, while he also bagged two goals during the course of the month - including a sublime chip during a 3-0 victory at Hull.
He now stands just one behind a group of six players - including Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney - who have taken the monthly accolade on four occasions.
"I'm very pleased," Lampard said.
"A lot of players in the league have had a good month. But it's been a good month for me personally; I've been playing in a team that's playing very well, which always make it easier. To win the Barclays player of the month, I'm very proud.
"Obviously in football team awards come first and foremost but if you can get an individual award for how you are performing during the season, whether it be month-by-month or at the end of the season, it's a great personal thing and it gives you confidence."
