Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate hopes to have Jeremie Aliadiere and Mido at his disposal for Saturday's meeting with Bolton.
Aliadiere was forced to miss Sunday's draw at Everton with an illness, while Mido has been sidelined over recent weeks with a hamstring complaint.
But Southgate has his fingers crossed the attacking duo will be available for selection as he bids to extend a five-game unbeaten run when Bolton arrive at The Riverside.
"Jeremie had sickness on Friday night and had to pull out of the squad," Southgate told Boro's official website.
"He should be back into the squad for next week and we're pretty hopeful Mido will be back as well."
Meanwhile, Southgate is awaiting news on the status of defender Chris Riggott, who was forced out of action against Everton following a clash with former team-mate Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
"Chris has a hamstring injury, so we'll just have to wait and see how severe it is," added Southgate.
"Hopefully it's not too serious with Chris because he's been playing really well for us. He took a couple of knocks but we'll know more soon."
