Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has admitted his excitement at the prospect of a £10million reunion with Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.
Reports suggest that Pompey and Liverpool have agreed a fee for Crouch and that the England forward will sign a four-year deal at Fratton Park as early as Monday.
Redknapp is eager for additional firepower in his Portsmouth attack as they prepare for next season in the Uefa Cup.
And Redknapp has targeted Crouch after working with the 27-year-old in a previous spell at Portsmouth in the 2001/02 season, before the pair again worked together at Southampton.
