Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has played down reports that a deal has been struck with Birmingham City for Roger Johnson.
Premier League side Birmingham are rumoured to be keen on the central defender and a £5million offer is said to have been rejected by their Championship counterparts.
It has been suggested Cardiff had accepted a renewed proposal from the Blues, but Ridsdale has moved to quash the speculation.
He told the South Wales Echo: "Nothing has been agreed. We said no to their offer and Roger Johnson remains a Cardiff City player."
Meanwhile, Cardiff have yet to receive any firm offers for star midfielder and captain Joe Ledley, while on-loan striker Michael Chopra is expected to sign the relevant papers next week and complete his move from Sunderland.
