Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey says Nenad Milijas is just the first of a number of summer signings for the newly-promoted outfit.
The Molineux side secured the services of the Serbia international on Monday for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract from Red Star Belgrade.
Milijas is the club's first signing on the back of promotion and Moxey insists Wolves are far from finished in the transfer market.
Although Moxey is against specifying how many players manager Mick McCarthy wants, he has dropped a strong hint there will be more than three.
"We got a lot of work to do. This signing of Nenad is going to be the first of quite a few that we'll be bringing in," he told Sky Sports News.
"Hopefully we've got another one that's not too far away as well. I'll be happy to break that as and when it happens.
"I've publically said a figure before and I've been scolded by Mick McCarthy for doing so.
"Let's just say we are going to strengthen the squad. There will be more than the two to three that you've just mentioned.
"We've got money to spend, but let's just see how it unfolds before we make too many predictions."
