Wolves quash Hart talk

Newly-promoted Wolves have rubbished rumours linking them with Manchester City keeper Joe Hart.

Mick McCarthy's side are actively pursuing new recruits as they look to piece together a side capable of challenging in the Premier League.

However, they claim to have no interest in England hopeful Hart.

The 22-year-old has fallen out of favour at Eastlands following the arrival of Shay Given and is desperate to find first-team football in an effort to keep his World Cup dreams alive.

A season-long loan deal at Molineux had been touted, but Wolves are already fully-stocked in the keeping department, with Wayne Hennessey and Carl Ikeme battling for the No. 1 jersey.

As a result, chief executive Jez Moxey has distanced the club from a proposed move for Hart.

"It's absolute nonsense," he said in the Express and Star.
