West Brom 'fully expect' Tony Mowbray to remain in charge next season following speculation linking him with a move to Celtic.
Gordon Strachan stood down as Hoops manager on Monday and reports have suggested Mowbray could be tempted to take on the job.
He has been named among the favourites with bookmakers but the Baggies have now responded quickly to dispel the rumours.
The club has issued a statement to make it clear that Mowbray will be the man to mastermind their bid for promotion from the Championship.
"Tony Mowbray is under contract for the next two years and we fully expect him to be our manager next season," read the statement.
"Further than that, the club feels there is no need to comment on speculation."
