Arsenal are set to be without Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor for Tuesday's crunch Premier League meeting with Liverpool at Anfield due to injury.
The Gunners travel to Merseyside hoping to reinforce their hold on fourth spot in the table, while their hosts are chasing a first title in 19 years.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to be without his star attacking duo as top scorer Van Persie has sustained a groin problem and Adebayor is carrying a hamstring complaint.
Both players were substituted before the end of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final defeat to London rivals Chelsea at Wembley after sustaining fitness setbacks.
First-choice goalkeeper Manuel Almunia will also remain on the sidelines against Liverpool, but the Spaniard has announced he will be ready to return from his ankle injury against Middlesbrough at the weekend.
But full-back Bacary Sagna has recovered from a virus and could feature, along with fit-again Croatia forward Eduardo.
Defenders Gael Clichy (back), William Gallas (knee) and Johan Djourou (knee) are all out of action.
Wenger confirmed: "From Saturday we lose Van Persie and Adebayor. He (Adebayor) is rested and Van Persie has a little groin problem again
"Sagna is back in the squad and we will decide tomorrow (if he will play).
