Arsene Wenger has declared Cesc Fabregas is ready to return to action this weekend against Manchester City, but concedes it will take the Arsenal captain time to recapture his form.
Fabregas has been out of action since suffering a knee ligament injury in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool in December.
Wenger is keen to have Fabregas available again as the season reaches the business end, but he accepts the Spaniard will need time before he is firing on all cylinders.
"He is ready to play again, but he needs three games to be back [at his best]," Wenger told French TV channel TF1.
"We are due to play eight games in 25 days, which are all decisive."
