Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has insisted that his future does not depend on manager Arsene Wenger.
Fabregas was brought to North London by Wenger from Barcelona in 2003 and his career has blossomed since the switch.
It has been suggested that the Spanish playmaker could seek a move away from Emirates Stadium when Wenger leaves his role as boss.
But Fabregas has stressed that he is his own man and is focused on his commitment at the Gunners.
"I hope that my future will be at Arsenal, but it does not depend on Wenger's future at all," he told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser.
"Of course we are talking about a very important person to me. I respect him a lot, but in football you try to achieve things as an individual.
"I hope that I will play football for another 10 or 12 years. I have no idea of where I will be."
