Louis Saha has paid tribute to David Moyes as he bids to fire Everton into the FA Cup semi-finals.
Everton face Middlesbrough on Sunday for a place in the last four in fine form, which is in stark contrast to their visitors from Teesside.
A campaign interrupted by numerous injuries at Goodison has nonetheless again proved a success, with Moyes' side handily placed in the Premier League and dreaming of FA Cup glory.
"It's amazing that the manager is consistent with whatever player he has to choose from," said Saha on the club's official website.
"So that shows that his tactics are working. The mentality and the spirit he brings to every player is impressive.
"I think that David Moyes' job is harder than a lot of other managers. It's harder to control many competitions with less players."
Saha has never played in an FA Cup final despite a decorated time as a Manchester United player and the Frenchman is determined break his duck this term.
"It would mean everything to get to a cup final," he added. "I've missed a couple of finals, so it would be good to take part in such a big competition.
"There's obviously a big step to make against Middlesbrough, but then we have to see what we can do after that."
