West Brom captain Jonathan Greening believes his side can draw inspiration from the last time they beat Arsenal when the Gunners travel to the Hawthorns on Tuesday.
Arsenal make the trip on the back of four successive goalless draws in the Premier League and the 30-year-old is looking to heap more misery on Arsene Wenger's side.
The North Londoners were put to the sword in October 2005 when a Darren Carter strike in the final 15 minutes secured the win at the Hawthorns.
Former Manchester United youngster Greening played in that game and is likely to start on Tuesday after he made his comeback from a five-week lay-off with medial knee damage as a second-half substitute against Everton on Saturday.
"We need to draw on that. It was a great performance that day," he told the Express and Star.
"On any day, if you play well, you have a chance. 'Carts' won that game for us with a left-foot volley and let's hope someone can do the same for us again."
After coming on for the final 30 minutes at Goodison Park in the Baggies' 2-0 defeat that left them four points adrift at the bottom of the table, Greening is itching to reclaim his place in the starting XI.
"I hope to start. I'll be doing more strengthening work before the game so we will see how it goes. It's up to the manager," he added.
"People will assume Arsenal will beat us, but we have to put a good performance and do our best."
