Arsenal youngster Rui Fonte is set to remain with Championship side Crystal Palace for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old striker joined the Eagles on an initial one-month loan deal in January, but has seen that agreement extended.
The decision will see Fonte continue to link up with his brother Jose, who is a defender at Selhurst Park.
The Portuguese youth international signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in the summer of 2007 and has been a regular in the reserve set-up at Emirates Stadium ever since.
He was involved in the Gunners' pre-season preparations prior to the current campaign and made his senior debut as a late substitute in a Carling Cup fourth round win over Wigan in November 2008.
Fonte has made three appearances, two of them off the bench, during his time with the Eagles.
