Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was pleased to take a point from the North London derby, but felt his side had no luck against their arch-rivals Tottenham.
A feisty encounter at White Hart Lane ended goalless on Sunday, although both sides had enough chances to have claimed local bragging rights.
Tottenham always fancied their chances once Emmaneul Eboue had been dismissed for two yellow cards inside the first half, but Wenger believes his side more than held their own despite their numerical disadvantage.
"I believe that we have shown quality and sprit and, of course, after 20 minutes when you go down to ten men it is very difficult in a derby," the French coach told Sky Sports.
"You have to play 70 minutes with 10 men, but I think we should have won the game and I think we would have done with 11 against 11."
Wenger also believes that the Gunners did not get the rub of the green from match referee Mike Dean.
Dean chalked off an early effort from Eboue, much to Arsenal's dismay, while the Ivorian's dismissal has also been left open to debate.
"I'm frustrated because I don't accept many of the decisions," said Wenger.
"I believe there were wrong decisions. You can punish the referee as much as you want, though, you don't get the points back."
Wenger resisted the urge to hand a debut to new arrival Andrey Arshavin on Sunday, while he also decided against handing Eduardo his long-awaited return from a badly broken leg.
"We had to play with people who could defend in the middle of the park and we still had two strikers on. It was very difficult," he said.
Both Arshavin and Eduardo could come into contention next week, though, as Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor was carried off after just 38 minutes at White Hart Lane.
"I believe it is a straight hamstring injury, so that means a minimum of three weeks," Wenger said when quizzed on how long he expected to be without his African ace.
