Mark Viduka admits his time at Newcastle United could be drawing to a close as he reaches the end of his contract.
The Australian striker has endured a frustrating season at St James' Park that has seen him make just one Premier League start.
Achilles and groin injuries have prohibited his involvement and it seems increasingly likely that this term will be his last in the North East.
A return to Australia with Melbourne Victory has been strongly mooted and Vikuda has accepted he may not receive fresh terms from Newcastle in the summer.
"Ideally I'd love to play another year for Newcastle but if it's not to be then it's not to be," he said in The Sun.
