Executive chairman Peter Storrie has revealed further parties have demonstrated an interest in buying Portsmouth.
Pompey owner Alexandre Gaydamak admitted last December that he is looking to sell the club, but only to the right buyer.
Gaydamak has insisted he is in no rush to part company with the South Coast outfit, and he backed manager Tony Adams in the winter transfer window.
However, Storrie said: "There have been one or two interested parties but there is a process they need to go through.
"I'm always hopeful but I can't say any more at the moment."
Portsmouth have previously denied rumours linking a South African consortium with a buy-out.
