West Brom have beaten the transfer deadline by seconds to sign Juan Carlos Menseguez on loan.
West Brom have lined up a loan deal for the South American.
The 24-year-old right-winger has signed for the Baggies until the end of the season, with the option of a permanent move available to boss Tony Mowbray.
Menseguez has joined the Midlands side from ten-times Argentine Primera Division champions San Lorenzo and should be available to make his Premier League debut against Newcastle on Saturday, subject to international clearance.
The pacey wide-man has already had the taste of European football after four seasons at German side Wolfsburg.
Menseguez joins fellow transfer window signings Jay Simpson and Youssouf Mulumbu at the Hawthorns.
