Arsenal striker Eduardo hailed his performance against Cardiff as "the best day of my life".
Eduardo scored twice in his first competitive game for Arsenal in nearly a year after recovering from the horrendous leg break he suffered last February.
The Croatian proved his fitness on international duty in midweek and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger decided to give him a start against Cardiff in their FA Cup replay on Monday night.
Eduardo marked his return with the opening goal of the game and the third in the 4-0 victory from the penalty spot.
The striker was given a tremendous reception from the Arsenal faithful and Eduardo admitted it was a very emotional occasion for him.
"It was the best day of my life," said Eduardo.
"It was a special moment to score, very emotional. I celebrated by kissing my wedding ring - because my wife and daughter and family supported me right through this."
