Didier Drogba is determined to help Chelsea get back on track, although he accepts he is going through a difficult period.
The Ivory Coast international has struggled for form and fitness since Luiz Felipe Scolari took charge at Stamford Bridge, scoring just one goal in the Premier League all season.
He started on the bench again as the Blues were held to a goalless draw by Hull City on Saturday.
Drogba accepts that he has not been on top of his game recently, while he is also concerned about Chelsea's current plight.
The 30-year-old striker nevertheless believes Chelsea can recover and even go on to win the UEFA Champions League this term.
"It's a little difficult at the moment, but we will find ways to return," he told L'Equipe. "I hope in the Champions League we will do well.
"You can't have a 10-year career where everything is great. I am in a period like that - a little less good.
"Is this difficult to experience? If I say no, people will say I am not ambitious. If I say yes, people will think I am demoralised when it is really not the case.
"It is not easy but it is not the end of the world. The main thing is that I am in good health physically."
Drogba has been linked with a move back to Marseille and he watched his former club beat Bordeaux 1-0 on Sunday.
However, he has played down suggestions that he could be interested in securing a return to Stade Velodrome.
He said: "Nino (Sylvain Wiltord) is there and Brandao has just arrived. Let's trust these people rather than talk about Drogba."
