El-Hadji Diouf is confident Blackburn Rovers will avoid relegation this season.
The Senegal star joined Rovers in January after his former Bolton boss Sam Alladryce took him from Sunderland.
Diouf is now ready to do battle for Rovers, and he feels his new club will be in the Premier League next season.
"We will stay up this season, we will do everything we can to stay up and then we can look forward to next season," he told Sky Sports News.
Rovers face the daunting task of getting something from Old Trafford as they travel to meet champions Manchester United on Saturday.
And Diouf acknowledges the extent of Rovers' task at the weekend as he feels United are the 'best in the world'.
"They have a better team than anyone," he continued.
"They have a good team spirit - I don't think Lvierpool [can win it] but I hope so but Manchester United have the best team, best in the world at the moment."
