Boro admit FA charge

Middlesbrough have admitted an FA charge of failing to control their players during January's match against West Brom.

The Baggies beat Boro 3-0 at The Hawthorns to boost their own hopes of surviving relegation and pile more pressure on Gareth Southgate's side.

Didier Digard was sent off in the second half, with the score at 2-0, after raising his studs at Borja Valero.

Digard and team-mates Mido, Robert Huth and Afonso Alves reacted furiously to the decision and confronted referee Mark Halsey.

Boro have now accepted that a number of their players did not behave appropriately.

They have requested a personal hearing which will be scheduled at a later date.
