Arsene Wenger believes Aaron Ramsey is capable of becoming a 'great player' in the future.
At just 18-years-old the Welshman still has a lot to learn, but is widely regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in English football.
He had made less than 20 appearances for Cardiff by the time Arsenal came calling last season, but jumped at the opportunity to continue his development at Emirates Stadium.
The North London club are renowned for nurturing top talent and Ramsey knows everything is in place to help him fulfil his potential.
He is yet to start to a Premier League game since moving to Ashburton Grove, but has featured regularly in the UEFA Champions League and can rest assured that his manager has complete faith in his ability to become a first-team regular under his guidance.
"He's still a bit short (of that)," Wenger told the club's official website.
"He's just 18 and (Jack) Wilshere is just 17. The Premier League is (the) Premier League and you need to be a man in this league.
"He can play in some games. But if you're asking me if he can play every week, every three days, I don't think he's ready yet. But he shows that he has the quality, that he can do it soon.
"I really think he will be a great player."
