Everton are reported to be tracking highly-rated Norwegian winger Trond Olsen.
The 24-year-old is currently on the books of Bodo/Glimt, but is attracting interest from across Europe.
The left-sided midfielder is a full international for his country and is widely expected to be on the move during the January transfer window.
While his destination remains unclear at present, Bodo director Benn Eidissen has confirmed that a number of clubs remain in the hunt for his signature.
"What I can say is that we have got several enquiries from abroad for Trond Olsen," Eidissen told Avisa Nordland.
"There has been serious interest from clubs in the top half of the Premier League standings."
