Scolari set to make changes

Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has vowed to make changes to his side over the coming weeks.

Scolari saw his title hopefuls succumb 3-0 to rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday in what ended up a fairly one-sided game.

The Brazilian tactician highlighted that he thought United's opening goal, coming on the stroke of half-time, changed the game and from then on in his trooops rarely threatened.

The Blues continued their recent habit of conceding goals from set pieces with United's Nemanja Vidic and Dimitar Berbatov capitalising from some slack marking from dead-ball situations.

"We didn't have many good chances and in the last minute of the first half we conceded a goal that changed everything," Scolari told Sky Sports.

"In the second half they played more freely and we gave them space which they like because we had to go for it."

The results means that Scolari's men have just two league wins in their last eight games and the former Portugal boss insists that changes will be made.

"We didn't come here to play for this situation," he added.

"We thought about winning the game now we need to think about what happened with some players, what happened with some set-plays, because we need to change something in the future."
