Martin O'Neill has refused to rule out a summer swoop for Newcastle striker Michael Owen.
The Aston Villa boss has already snapped up the 29-year-old's former Liverpool strike partner Emile Heskey from Wigan for £3.5million.
However, O'Neill has remained coy over the possibility of reuniting the two forwards once more at Villa Park.
"I'm not saying that I will move for Owen in the summer - I've not looked at anything at that remote a distance," the Irishman told The Sun.
"But that's not to say Michael Owen is not a terrific player. Anything is possible. Kaka is a possibility!
"We want to try to compete at this level but what's happening in the future? I have no idea."
The England international will be a free agent at the end of the season when his existing contract runs out on Tyneside.
