James Milner believes Ason Villa are showing the form to challenge for a place in the top four.
Villa maintained their charge for a place in next season's UEFA Champions League with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Sunderland as they came from behind to win on Wearside.
Martin O'Neill's men are unbeaten in the Premier League since 9th November and have won six of their last seven games to keep the pressure on the leading pack.
Milner is enjoying his role in helping Villa challenge for a Champions League spot and he is confident they can qualify for Europe's premier competition.
"I like to look at the table which shows teams' current form and we're right up there," said Milner.
"I don't think I've been on a run like this in my career. We had a couple of good seasons in the Uefa Cup at Newcastle but consistency-wise this has been fantastic.
"We're putting in performances regularly and, even when we don't play well, we're picking up results and that's a good habit.
"Throughout the season everyone has been asking us about the Champions League and now they're asking if we can win the title.
"All we can do is keep winning games and let everyone else talk about how far we can go.
"Everyone knows what page we're on now and where we want to go as a club and a team.
"We're in control now and obviously the main aim is to get into the Champions League. Anything else would be amazing."
