Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear has been fined by the FA for improper conduct following his comments about referee Martin Atkinson.
Kinnear was given a £500 fine after admitting charges relating to media comments made after the 2-1 defeat by Fulham back in November when the Magpies boss reportedly called Atkinson a "Mickey Mouse referee."
In further charges, Kinnear denied using abusive and insulting words towards a match official during the 2-2 draw with Stoke on 6th December.
Kinnear was sent to the stands on that occasion after contesting the award of a free-kick but a regulatory commission found this charge not proved.
