Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has rejected claims the club have 'tapped up players', while he also suggested someone has been 'passing on information' over his transfer targets.
It has been suggested that Redknapp has unsettled players during his pursuit to bring fresh faces to White Hart Lane this transfer window.
But the former Portsmouth manager has disregarded the accusations, explaining: "We haven't tapped anyone up.
"Am I getting upset because suddenly (Inter Milan boss) Mourinho says he wants (Jermaine) Jenas? I don't want to sell Jenas. End of story."
Redknapp also spoke of the difficulties faced in completing transfers, adding: "Every player I have spoken about is in the newspapers and that means someone at this club is passing information on.
"I'm driving in and (assistant manager) Kevin Bond is reading a list of players who have been spoken about in private."
