Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune insists he has not been informed of a bid for his services from West Brom.
The Premier League strugglers have been strongly linked with the 27-year-old forward, with reports in France suggesting that an initial offer from the Baggies of 2.5million euros (£2.2million) has been turned down.
Tony Mowbray is known to be keen to add further firepower to his squad as they battle to beat the drop and with Ishmael Miller having been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury.
Fortune admits he is flattered by the speculation and would welcome the chance to showcase his skills in England's top flight.
He told skysports.com: "I am not aware yet of any bid, but it shows I am doing well.
"To play in the Premier League would be fantastic, but it is too early to talk, we will have to wait."
