Sir Alex Ferguson is starting to get a whiff of glory as the Premier League title race hots up.
The veteran Manchester United boss is more aware than most about what is needed to take the crown, having done so on 10 previous occasions.
That experience is likely to stand the Red Devils in good stead as they attempt to fend off the advances of Liverpool and Chelsea this term.
A run of just one defeat in 20 games has seen the reigning champions move ominously to the summit, while they also remain on course to claim a historic quadruple.
Ferguson is refusing to get carried away by his team's fine form, though, and admits that he is looking for his players to raise their game to unprecedented levels.
"We have been on a good run lately," said the Scot.
"And what we want now is a great run.
"The smell of the title run-in is there and I am looking for us to raise our game even more."
